Green Master-Planned Community

Teeming with wildlife, Viridian boasts a 2,000-acre master plan that includes five major lakes, 500 acres of open space and an additional 500 acres of lakes, rivers, streams and wetlands. Nature is the heartbeat of Viridian, and sustainability is a way of living. Viridian is one of the only master-planned communities in Texas designed to meet Audubon Gold Signature Standards and was, in fact, recently named “Certified Gold Signature Sanctuary.”

Inspired by Nature, Rooted in Community

Viridian’s nature and family-friendly amenities package (No. 1 in the Metroplex for versatility and uniqueness) complement the offer of new townhomes and single-family houses for sale in Arlington priced from the $250,000s to more than $2 million. For our 1,500 happy residents, Viridian is a true refuge from the chaos of life, located just minutes from the wealth of shopping, entertainment and educational opportunities that only the Metroplex can offer. The convenience of short drive times to Fort Worth or Dallas allows easy access to local services, restaurants, shopping, entertainment and employment corridors, and lies at the basis of our Viridian lifestyle: spend more time living and playing with your family and less time in the car trying to get there.
From lakes, trails, playgrounds, lavish landscaping, quality architecture, and all-inclusive athletic centers to events inspiring community involvement, every aspect of Viridian is orchestrated with resident life in mind. Options for family enjoyment are so varied; the hard part will be deciding what today’s adventure will entail.

Schools

Parents in Viridian have the unique opportunity to pick the very best educational environment for their children with the option to choose between the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD or Arlington ISD.

Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD

Viridian is zoned to schools within HEB ISD, including Viridian Elementary — located on-site — Harwood Junior High and Trinity High School. Each of these high-performing campuses are recognized for challenging curriculums and innovative teaching methods that have earned numerous accolades and impressive scores on state-mandated tests.

The success of these schools begins at the district level, and HEB ISD is one of the state’s most celebrated districts. Ranked in the Top 20 Best Public School Districts in Texas by Niche.com, HEB ISD also is the No. 1 district in Texas for academic performance and financial efficiency, as rated by the Education Resource Group, and is one of only 24 districts in Texas to earn a distinction in Post Secondary Readiness. It also has been listed among the Best Communities for Music Education for nine consecutive years.
Rich in diversity, HEB ISD prepares students to compete on a global stage. International Baccalaureate, Asian languages, Spanish Immersion, Core Knowledge Pre-K, and sister schools in China and India are just some of the innovative international programs offered in the district.

Arlington ISD

Ranked the 11th largest school district in Texas, Arlington ISD offers students many chances to excel in academics, fine arts, athletics and other extracurricular activities. Gifted and talented curriculums are available for elementary and secondary students, and incorporate co-curricular and extracurricular endeavors. High school students can graduate with college credit in 28 courses through the district’s Advanced Placement program, and Tarrant County College dual credit courses are offered through a special arrangement that charges only $50 per course, including books.
Arlington ISD also offers an International Baccalaureate World School Programme and an acclaimed special education program that focuses on academic success as well as life skills development.
The district has been named one of the nation’s Best Communities for Music Education numerous times and has more than 46,000 students enrolled in fine arts throughout the district.
